Die üble Politik in aller Welt mit der Folge der Zerstörung der Lebensgrundlagen der Menschen und vieler anderer Lebewesen fordert eine sanfte Revolution heraus. Diese ist - jedenfalls in Deutschland - allein anhand der bestehenden Gesetze möglich:
Nur 2 % der Bundesbürger nehmen ihre Bürgerrechte in Anspruch, die in der Parteiendemokratie nur über Parteien ausgeübt werden können. Denn die Wahlen sind nur eine Farce. Die Kandidaten werden von den Parteien bestimmt. Aus 60 Millionen wählbaren Bundesbürgern können sich die Parteien einige hundert heraussuchen. Alle anderen stehen nicht zur Wahl. Das wäre verfassungswidrig, wenn nicht jedem Bürger freistehen würde, in eine Partei einzutreten.
Deshalb gehört zu den großen Rätseln, daß nur jeder 50ste Bundesbürger Mitglied einer Partei ist. Würden die Nachdenklichen in großer Zahl in die Parteien strömen, könnten sie für die richtigen Kandidaten sorgen. Das hat mit Unterwanderung nichts zu tun. Es geht darum, daß viel mehr Leute mit dem aufrechten Gang ihre demokratischen Rechte wahrnehmen.
Es gilt dem Einfluß der Leute entgegenzutreten, die dort ausschließlich ihre eigenen Interessen verfolgen.
Ein großer zeitlicher und finanzieller Aufwand wäre das nicht. Mindestbeitrag monatlich 5 - 10 Euro und im Schnitt einmal im Jahr hingehen, wenn die Kandidaten für die Parlaments- und Kommunalwahlen augestellt werden.

Dort werden in Kürze wieder Unterstützer für eine Wahlanfechtung der Bundestagswahl gesucht, weil bei der Kandidatenwahl in allen Parteien offen abgestimmt wird. Würde sie Erfolg haben, hätte endlich die Basis das Sagen. Der Einfluß der Lobby und der "hochrangigen Wirtschaftskreise", der ständigen Reisebegleiter eines Herrn Gerhard Schröder, würde schwinden.
Auch bei inhaltlichen Fragen gelingt es den Parteispitzen fast immer, ihre Mitglieder mit dem Druckmittel "Geschlossenheit" auf ihre Vorstellungen einzuschwören. Aber das ist Sache der Parteien, während bei der Aufstellung der Kandidaten die geheime Abstimmung auf der Grundlage der Verfassung gesetztlich vorgeschrieben ist.

Ganz lieben Dank, für Deine lieben und erhebenden Worte -!

Ich stimme Dir voll zu! Es gibt nichts "Neues" unter der Sonne -besser hinter der Sonne -! Alles ist da und alles war schon zu allen Zeiten da, aber wir sind aus dem Wissen, aus unserem eigenem Sein scheinbar herausgefallen und dieses Scheinbare müssen wir durchschauen, wir müssen es transzendieren, um wieder zu erkennen, wer wir in Wirklichkeit sind!

Wir sind nicht dieser vergängliche Körper mit seinen fünf Handlungs- und fünf Sinnesorganen!

Das Ego benutzt alle möglichen Tricks, um uns in der Relativität zu verstricken, weil das Licht der Erkenntnis der Tod des Egos bedeuten würde!

Maharishi, hat über 50 Jahre versucht, mit seinen einfachen Beispielen und Analogien uns klar zu machen, wer wir eigentlich sind und was wir nicht sind! Nur wenige von seinen Schülern konnten bisher seine Lehre vollständig umsetzen, um in der Fülle, des unaussprechlichen Seins, zu leben.

Das bisher nur Wenige von uns wieder nach Hause gekommen sind, lag nicht an Maharishi oder an seine Lehre, sondern an unsere eigenen Zweifel, oder besser gesagt, an unser raffiniertes Ego, das sich gegen die Wahrheit sträubt, um am Leben zu bleiben.

Eigentlich bräuchte der Guru uns nur eine Lecture geben, in der alle
Informationen für unsere Selbsterkenntnis enthalten sind. Nur, weil
wir in unserem Fühlen und Denken gefangen sind, fällt es uns so
schwer, die Weisen Worte vom Guru direkt umzusetzen.

Es ist, wie wir wissen, unser Ego, weshalb es für uns so schwierig ist, die Wahrheit
ganz anzunehmen und direkt umzusetzen.

Wir müssen die gleiche Lehre immer wieder hören, bis wir eines Tages
in der Lage sind, von unserem gewohnten Denken und Fühlen abzulassen
und die Wahrheit in ihrer ganzen Fülle zuzulassen!

In der heutigen Zeit, hat die Wahrheit es sehr schwer, sich durchzusetzen!

Als Maharishi nach Amerika kam, sprach er vom Gottesbewusstsein. Es sagte zu seinem Publikum, dass Schlafen Ignoranz sei und dass im Gottesbewusstsein es keinen Schlaf mehr für das Bewusstsein geben würde!

Als Maharishi merkte, dass die Leute ihn nicht verstanden haben, hat er seinen Ansatz, um seine Lehre zu verbreiten, geändert.

Maharishi sprach nicht mehr davon, dass die TM die Leute "Wach" werden lässt, sondern, dass die Leute besser schlafen können, wenn sie die TM regelmäßig praktizieren!

Maharishi hat erkannt, dass er die Leute da abholen muss, wo sie gerade sind und das ist im Schlaf -!

Es können nur Dornen mit Dornen entfernt werden!

Welchen Wert hat eine Sprache, die nicht verstanden werden kann?

Du bist wirklich einer der Licht verbreitet und das achte ich ganz besonders an Dir. Da ich mich mit meinen jungen 51 Jahren als noch junger TM Hase verstehe, darf ich noch einmal meine ganz subjektive Meinung zum Ausdruck bringen, dass es gar nichts gibt, was missverstanden werden kann. Nichts ist neu unter der Sonne und es wäre vermessen zu behaupten, das jemand das was wir verstehen nicht versteht. Alles Liebe  Hannes

ganz lieben Dank für Deinen Lob. Auch Franz möchte ich hier danken, dass er es ermöglicht hat, dass es zu diesem wunderbaren Austausch kam!

Der Inhalt von diesem Text kann auch leicht missverstanden werden und von daher habe ich etwas gezögert, ihn zu veröffentlichen.

Für uns alten TM Hasen sind die Aussagen leicht verständlich und von den eigenen Erfahrungen leicht nachvollziehbar, aber für jemand, der gerade seinen spirituellen Weg begonnen hat, kann die eine oder andere Aussage auch zu Verwirrung führen und von daher sind meine nachfolgenden Texte gut, um diesen Text in seiner ganzen Reichweite besser zu verstehen.

Lieber Peter, lieber Franz, ganz hervorragend finde ich Euren Dialog über die Entwicklung höherer Bewußtseinszustände. Besonders gut finde ich die Tatsache, das ich das Gefühl habe, das es sich dabei nicht nur um eine rein theoretische Diskussion handelt, sondern hier auch Selbsterfahrung zur Sprache kommt.  Ihr solltet meiner Meinung nach aber nicht davon ausgehen, dass Ihr jemanden verwirrt oder das jemand nicht in der Lage ist die Wahrheit Eurer Aussagen zu verstehen.  Jedes Individuum ist seinem Wesen nach unbegrenzt, unsterblich und auch schon ewig da, jedes Individuum ist göttlich und das Vereinheitlichte Feld aller Naturgesetze ist die Grundlage von allem.  Das reine Wissen hat es schon immer gegeben und wird es auch immer geben, warum in aller Welt sollte sich jemand von Eurer Weisheit verwirren lassen? Außerdem ist es gerade in spirituellen Dingen besser nicht der intellektuelle Überflieger zu sein, man erinnere sich an Shukadeva.... Liebe Grüße Hannes

P Lieber Franz über Dein Antwort und Deiner Anerkennung habe ich mich sehr gefreut! Ganz herzlichen Dank!

F Lieber Peter, danke für den wunderschönen Text über das Bewusstsein und seine Zustände.
Gerade für die Erwähnung der Selbstreferenzialität des Bewusstseins bin ich dank-
bar. Man könnte sich vorstellen, dass die sieben Bewusstseinszustände nach ihrer
Selbstreferenzialität untersucht werden - von ganz fremdbezogen bis ganz selbst-
bezogen. Wie selbstbezogen ist etwa das Kosmische Bewusstsein und was ist
noch nicht selbstbezogen?

P Nur das Selbst ist selbstbezogen und das Gewitneste ist nicht selbstbezogen,

F Wenn z.B. das Relative als nicht existent abgetan wird - ist das nicht vielleicht nur ein Mangel an Assimilierungskraft?

P Du kannst nicht etwas assimilieren, was gar nicht existiert und von wem soll es assimiliert werden - das ist einfach nicht möglich.

F (In den Upa-nishaden wird Brahman (=Bewusstsein) mit "Nahrung" in Verbindung gebracht und es heißt : "Brahman verschlingt (und verdaut) alles."*

P Ja, die Ignoranz wir verschlungen und verdaut. Diese Aussage ist zum Verständnis gut, aber sie hat nichts mit der Realität zu tun!

F Im Gottesbewusstsein wird ja dann das nichtexistente Relative wieder wertgeschätzt.

P Ja, aber die Wertschätzung der Relativität beginnt bereits ab dem Kosmischen-Bewusstsein und hat seinen Höhepunkt im Gottesbewusstsein erreicht!

F Da Brahman voll selbstbezogenes Bewusstsein ist, würde ich Brahman (nach Maharishi
"die große Einheit") nicht als "Zustand" bezeichnen, also nicht als achten Bewusstseins-
zustand, zumal auch Maharishi meist von sieben Bewusstseinszuständen gesprochen
hat. Obwohl man das in Bezug auf einen Menschen, der zu Brahman wird, vielleicht tun
könnte.

P Ja, man kann Brahman bei Jemanden, der im Brahmanbewusstsein ist, als 8. Bewusstseinszustand sehen, weil Brahman sich im Menschen langsam offenbart. Brahman dehnt sich mit der Zeit aus!

F Da Brahman aber einfach "Bewusstsein" in seiner Fülle ist, wäre Brahmanbe-
wusstsein Bewusstseinsbewusstsein.

P Ja

F Ich würde mich da an Maharishi und die SCI-Kurse halten, sonst werden die Leute verwirrt:

F Lieber Peter, danke für die Antwort, die Du (= Bewusstsein) mir (=+-Bewusstsein)
gegeben hast. Das Bewusstsein hat jetzt noch weitere Frage an sich selber:

P Ja, nur so können wahrhafte Antworten entstehen -!

F 1. Was das "Gewittnesste" ist, habe ich nach eingem Staunen selbst herausgefunden.
    Für alle, die sich noch wundern: Im Kosmischen Bewusstsein ist das absolute
    (= losgelöste) Bewusstsein unbeteiligter Zeuge (engl. "witness") aller Vorgänge in
    Raum und Zeit (im "Relativen"), deren es gewahr wird. Im Movement-Slang spricht
    man dann von "Witnessing". Das Gewit(t)nesste ist also bestes Denglisch.

P Ja, mit dem Wort " Gewitnesste" erklingt die Definition, die wir vom Kosmischen Bewusstsein haben, nämlich, dass es das Relative und das Absolute gibt. Durch diese geistige Haltung bleibt uns die Freude am Relativen erhalten -!

F 2. Betrifft die Aussage, das Relative sei nichtexistent, nur das Kosmische Bewusst-
    sein? (Wissen ist ja verschieden in verschiedenen Bewusstseinszuständen!) Diese
    Ansicht würde das Gottesbewusstsein als unnötig erscheinen lassen, denn wieso
    soll ich meine Wertschätzung an etwas Nichtexistentes verschwenden. Oder ist
    die Aussage, das Relative sei nichtexistent, eine pädagogische Aussage, um den
    Unwissenden von der Bindung an das Relative zu lösen.

P Genaugenommen gibt es die Dualität von "Relativ" und "Absolut" nicht. Das wird uns durch unsere Erfahrungen im Einheitsbewusstsein bewusst. Das Gottesbewusstsein ist das verfeinert Kosmische Bewusstsein. Das Selbst bleibt das Selbst, lediglich die Wahrnehmung der relativen Welt verfeinert sich!

"Das Nicht-Existente wird durch das Nicht-Existente wahrgenommen, wodurch das Nicht-Existente "Ego" am Leben bleibt!"

Du, als als Selbst, hast keine Wertschätzung an das Nicht-Existierende!
Nur das Nicht-Existierende Ego hat eine Wertschätzung an die Nichtexistierende!

Die Aussage, dass das Relative nicht real ist, nicht existiert, ist perfekt!

Für unser Ego, d.h. für das Leben auf der Erde ist es jedoch praktisch, so zu tun als ob das Relative da ist. Unser ganzer Austausch, das Miteinander mit unser Familie, mit unseren Freunden etc. würde nicht gut funktionieren, wenn wir alles negieren würden.

Ich denke, das Wissen von der Realität ist gut und notwendig, um die innere Freiheit zu haben, selbst wenn wir in der Nichtexistenz involviert sind.

F 3. Welche Rolle spielt das Siddhi-Programm bei der Entwicklung des Einheitsbewusst-
    seins? Ich habe einmal in Sri Lanka mit einem Buddhistenmönch gesprochen, der
    das Siddhiprogramm als höchst unspirituell und wenig zielführend (in Bezug auf
    Erleuchtung) abtat.

P Das Sidhi-Programm schafft eine perfekte Geist-Körper-Koordination; unser Körper wird durch die verschiedenen Sutren geheilt; die Energiezentren (Chakren)im Körper werden aktiviert; die Kundalini wird, insbesondere durch das Flugsutra, langsam geweckt.

Das Siddhi-Programm ist mit dem Wissen von Maharishi perfekt. Nur das Siddhi-Programm, ohne das Wissen von höheren Bewusstseinszuständen, könnte eine Falle sein, weil die Siddhis das Ego stärken. Ein starkes Ego kämpft um sein Leben, wenn es um seine Existenz geht. Das Ego steht der Erleuchtung entgegen. Mit dem Wissen von Maharishi und unseren eigenen Erfahrungen können wir zwischen Real und Unreal unterscheiden und dadurch entziehen wir dem Ego die Macht über uns!

Zusammengefasst möchte ich sagen, dass die TM- und das TM-Siddhi-Programm einzigartig sind, um uns Schritt für Schritt auf ganz natürliche Weise zur Erleuchtung* zu bringen.

Durch die Siddhis werden wir geheilt und durch das Flugsutra wird die Kundalini, die Shakti, die für die Erleuchtung notwendig ist. geweckt.

Ein gesunder Körper ist die Voraussetzung für die hohe kosmische Energie, die durch die Erweckung der Kundalini in den Körper kommt.

Mit unserem umfassenden und ganzheitlichen Programm und der richtigen Handhabung stehen wir auf der sicheren Seite, um in diesem Leben, das Ziel aller Ziele, Brahman-Bewusstsein, zu erreichen!

F 4. Welche Rolle spielen die Sinne bzw. die feinen (="göttlichen") Sinne?

P Mehr Freude im Spiel der Maya, Glückseligkeit!

F 5. Wenn Brahman das voll selbstbezogene große Bewusstsein ist, könnte man dann
    von einem "Bewusstseinsuniversum" sprechen. Bezügl. des Mahavakya (=große In-
    struktion) "Aham Brahmasmi" = "Ich bin Brahman, ich bin das Bewusstsein(suniver-
    sum) - würde diese Erfahrung dann das Ich und alle Dualität und alle Unwissenheit
    auflösen? Vielleicht     bis auf einen kleinen Rest an Lesh-Avidya, an letzter Unwis-
    senheit, die zum Erhalt des Körpers in Raum und Zeit nötig ist?

P Das Universum ist etwas eingeschränktes. Brahman ist die Ganzheit ohne jegliche Begrenzungen. Das Universum gibt es, nach unserem Verständnis von Brahman, nicht. Das Wort "Bewusstseinsuniversum" könnte man besser im Kosmischen Bewusstsein verwenden, weil man da so tut, als ob es das Relative geben würde.

In Brahman gibt es das Ego, was ja begrenzt ist, sowie alle Arten von Begrenzungen, nicht mehr!

Es wird nichts aufgelöst, weil es gar nichts zum Auflösen gibt! Nur unsere falschen Vorstellungen, vom Sein und Nicht-Sein werden aufgelöst!

Das Einzige was anders ist, ist unsere eigene Erkenntnis, dass alles "Eins" ist und alles schon immer "Eins" war.

Die Abstufungen von verschiedenen Bewusstseinszuständen ist nur in unseren Vorstellungen, um mit diesen Konzepten unseren beschränkten Geist zu frieden zu stellen. Wenn wir erkennen, wer wir in Wirklichkeit sind, dann fallen all unsere falschen Vorstellungen wie Schuppen von den Augen. In der Nichtdualität betrachtet das Selbst sich nur noch Selbst. Wie soll das auch anders gehen, wenn es kein Nicht-Selbst mehr gibt?

Solange wir es noch für nötig halten, hier auf der Erde, in der Dualität, zu sein, ist es notwendig, etwas Dualität Lesh-Avidya zu behalten.

Für Brahman gibt es die Erde nicht!

Die Maya, die Dualität, verlangt die Unwissenheit, um ihre "Existenz" zu bewahren!

P Unseren Austausch sowie den Austausch mit Anderen würde ich gerne in die Liste tun. Vielleicht gibt es von dort noch weitere Anregungen . ist das o.K. für Dich?

"TM ist der einzige Weg zum TC" Maharishi

Liebe Freunde!

Diese wunderbaren Aussagen (s.u.) von Maharishi passen gut zu dem Text: "Die Entwicklung höherer Bewusstseinszustände!"

In einem anderen Zusammenhang sagte Maharishi: " Das jede andere Technik, die uns zur feinsten Ebene des Relativen führt und wir dann die Technik hinter uns lassen, d.h transzendieren, muss auch TM sein."

TM heißt, dass wir mit unserem Mantra von der gröberen Ebene des Denkens zu feineren Ebenen des Denkens gelangen bis wir die feinste Ebene des Denkens überschritten haben, d.h. wir lassen das Mantra zurück, wir transzendierten das Mantra und gelangen dann in das Transzendentale Bewusstsein, in das reine allgegenwärtige Bewusstsein.

Diesen Vorgang des Transzendierens können wir auch mit anderen Techniken erreichen. Z. B, wenn wir, wie es in der Wissenschaft vom Sein beschrieben ist, unseren Geschmackssinn verfeinern. Wir können unseren Geschmackssinn von der gröbsten bis zur aller feinsten Ebene verfeinern bis wir selbst die aller feinste Geschmacksebene überschritten haben, d.h. wir gelangen genau dort hin, wo wir mit unserem Mantra (TM) hingekommen sind, nämlich in das Transzendentale Bewusstsein.

Vom Vorgang ist es wie bei der TM, aber wie es in diesem Text vom Maharishi zum Ausdruck kommt, ist das Transzendieren mit dem spezifischen TM-Mantra am leichtesten. weil das TM-Mantra aus der vedischen Tradition kommt und von daher uns mit der göttlichen Führung uns zur Transzendenz, zu unserem Heim bringt.

In diesem Zusammenhang möchte ich auch erwähnen, dass das TM-Mantra gesegnet ist von der heiligen, vedischen Tradition und uns sicher und schnell zur Transzendenz führt.

MAHARISHI: I like basic questions.(laughter) It is always better to deal with the problem at the fundamental of it, the basis. Then everything becomes clear. Right. Now go ahead.

Question: ...You said TM is the only way or the only technique to reach TC. This kind of disturbed me...

MAHARISHI: It might have disturbed many people. When we say TC can only be gained by TM, I think we are justified in saying that. Transcendental means "that which lies beyond the finest relative", transcendental. To get to that area our awareness must transcend all relative experiences.

To get to the transcendence or the transcendental area, our awareness must transcend the finest relative. So even if we say TM is the only way to get to TC, I think we are not exaggerating. Even so the word "the only way" seems to be alarming. "Can this be the only way? Could there be not some other way?"

Whatever the way, it must transcend the finest relative. Whatever the way, it must take our awareness from the gross to the subtle, to the transcendent and that way is named as TM. It is very simple.

And now another thing. When we say from here to New York, Jumbo Jet is the only way. (laughter) We mean the only most comfortable and fastest way. Otherwise one could drive to New York. One could go in a propeller, that's also a way. One could go by bicycle. There could be thousand ways to reach.

When we say "the only way", we mean the most sensible way.(laughter) The most sensible way. We can word it that TM is the most sensible way to get to TC...

Cultural integrity—the foundation of invincible peace and progress for every nation—was the theme of the November full moon celebration of the Global Mother Divine Organization.*

Sponsored by the GMDO Foundation for Total Knowledge Based Culture, the programme explored profound knowledge of how upholding cultural traditions maintains the life of every nation in accord with Natural Law; and that this role is upheld especially by the mothers of the world.

'To live one's culture, one must live according to Natural Law,' she said. 'All activity in Nature begins from the common ground of silence that is found in the mind's settled state of awareness.' Through the Transcendental Meditation Technique, one experiences the settled state of the mind—Transcendental Consciousness, identified in Maharishi's Vedic Science as the home of all the Laws of Nature; and as a result 'our actions become more evolutionary.

'The basis of growth is culture, and the basis of culture is life according to Natural Law,' she continued. 'Cultural integrity means all those values that are necessary in order to live life spontaneously in the direction of evolution. The result of cultural integrity is happiness, affluence, and harmony within a nation, and complete impenetrability from any disturbing influence from outside. 'It has also been said that the destiny of a nation is in the hands that rock the cradle. The mothers of the world hold the nation's destiny in their hands because they are the first teachers of the coming generation. If the mothers teach the children those values which sustain life in progress, the next generation will lead the nation on the basis of the knowledge of Natural Law, upholding their culture, and thereby maintaining both progress and stability.

Three gurus change the world!

In researching the 200-year transmission of India's spiritual teachings to the West, I found that three gurus stood out for their immense impact on public awareness, and as it happens they all have birthdays around now: Paramahansa Yoganandaon Jan. 5, and both Swami Vivekananda andMaharishi Mahesh Yogi on Jan. 12. People who are into astrology say it's significant that all three were Capricorns. For me, an astrological agnostic, it's enough that their proximate birthdays are an opportunity to pay homage.

They came to America at intervals of about 30 years, in eras that were vastly different, culturally and technologically. They were, of course, Hindu monks. At the same time, they were well-educated, fluent in English and knowledgeable about science. They were ambitious (though not in the conventional sense), earnest, determined, well-organized, single-minded and pragmatically businesslike -- all Capricorn traits, I'm told, but let's not go there -- and they combined a steadfast reverence for tradition with skillful adaptation to the modern world.

Vivekananda, born in 1863, arrived in Chicago at age 30 as a delegate to the World's Parliament of Religions. It was the first parliament, and it might have been the last if the "handsome monk in the orange robe," as one writer described him, had not made it memorable. He stole the show with an eloquent refutation of misconceptions about Hinduism and a dignified demonstration of that tradition's vaunted respect for all pathways to the divine. At a time when most Americans hadn't even met a Catholic or a Jew, the enthusiastic reception was remarkable, although it was stained by predictable attacks from conservative Christians, to whom a heathen was a heathen no matter how erudite and inspiring he may seem.

Vivekananda spent about three years here before returning to India, where he passed away before his 40th birthday. His tenure was long enough to write four seminal books that introduced Westerners to the classic yogic pathways -- bhakti (devotion), karma (action), jnana (intellect) andraja (meditative practice) -- and to establish Vedanta Societies in major cities. The swamis who ran those centers in mid-20th century would become mentors to cultural icons like Aldous Huxley, Huston Smith, Joseph Campbell and J.D. Salinger, whose enduring works changed the way tens of millions saw themselves and the world.

Yogananda was born the year of his predecessor's triumph in Chicago and landed in Boston in 1920 to speak on "The Science of Religion." The first major guru to make the U.S. his home, he fell in love with Los Angeles, which he called "the Benares of America," establishing the world headquarters of his Self-Realization Fellowship on a rustic hilltop with a view of downtown. Early on he showed himself a thoroughly modern swami, using new inventions like radio and mail order to disseminate his brand of Kriya Yoga. His crowning creation, in addition to the durable organization that keeps his teachings alive, was the memoir, Autobiography of a Yogi. In the 300-plus interviews I conducted for my book, American Veda, that was the text most frequently mentioned when people spoke of their spiritual influences. It has sold 4 million copies and counting.

The third member of the trio is destined to be known forever as "the Beatles' guru." Born in 1918, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had been circling the globe for nearly 10 years, teaching hisTranscendental Meditation, by the time the Fab Four found him in 1967. He touched down in the U.S. annually for much of that time, attracting small numbers of grown-up middle-class seekers. Then TM caught on among students, and spread to the burgeoning counterculture, and when the Beatles followed him to India, Maharishi's face became the global symbol of guruhood. It was on the cover of national magazines, the front pages of newspapers and on national TV.

Meditation was suddenly hip, and soon it would be something more substantial, as Maharishi prodded scientists to investigate what goes on in the body and brain when people meditated. As a result of those early studies, meditation -- and with it Indian philosophy -- moved quickly from the youth culture to the mainstream. That trend line peaked in 1975, when Maharishi occupied the full hour of Merv Griffin's talk show (the Oprah of its day) twice, with scientists and meditating celebs like Clint Eastwood and Mary Tyler Moore. Now, a thousand experiments later, yoga and meditation are routinely recommended by healthcare professionals.

Those three renowned teachers, and the many other swamis, gurus and yoga masters that came here from India, along with their Buddhist counterparts, changed the face of spirituality in the West. Among other things, they gave people who were alienated from, indifferent to or contemptuous of mainstream religion a way to exercise the spiritual impulse without compromising their sense of reason or the facts of history and science. They were Hindus to be sure, but they were not religious missionaries out to convert. They taught the essence of their tradition -- what Indians call sanatana dharma, or the eternal way, a science of consciousness if you will, that they said can enhance the life of anyone, whether religious or secular. In the process they lifted the ceiling on human development and opened the gates to a new understanding of who and what we are. For that, their birthday week deserves commemoration.

Rising invincibility from the shores of Lake Titicaca

High in the mountains of Peru in Puno, a small city on the shores of Lake Titicaca, 1500 students in six schools come together each day to practise the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi—unfolding their full potential as individuals and creating invincibility for their nation.

A video showing slides of Lake Titicaca, the students and teachers participating in the project, explains the implementation of Consciousness-Based Education in these schools. Father Francisco Qquenta said that he immediately accepted that everyone in his institution learn Transcendental Meditation. He states that this technique can be learnt by a person of any religious conviction.

‘I believe the only thing one has to look for is knowing how to integrate ourselves well—who we are, what we are good for and how we must develop our own intelligence,’ he said.

Students report feeling more tranquility. One student said, ‘More tranquility; it’s a tranquility, more relaxed. Now I don’t have pressures, I don’t have stress.’

Students from one of the schools are shown blissfully practising Transcendental Meditation. ‘It’s very beautiful,’ one young boy reports. ‘You feel relaxed. You feel less overwhelmed. Your problems go away.’

Another girl says that she has changed a lot in her character—‘because I could not control myself. I used to yell a lot and deny things.’

Ms Luz Elvira, a school director, said, ‘This was something marvellous, truthfully. When we personally received it for the first time, it was like a change in your life, as if you had been reborn. The first time, that was the first experience that I had.

‘And the children, the same thing. It was a marvellous experience for them. Even they started to do better in tests; they changed their conduct, their way of being as persons, as human beings. You could see the difference out here with these kids.’

One young boy said, ‘You should practise this because it is something where we will help ourselves.’

Another student reports that his grades have gone up, and he gets along better with his family.

The video presentation ends with photographs of young boys practising Transcendental Meditation on the banks of Lake Titicaca, and other students practising Yogic Flying in the school facility.

Lake Titicaca has the world's highest elevation for a commercially navigable lake. In their city near the sky, children bring peace through their practice of Yogic Flyingwith their cosmic hops of bliss. The children of Puno are bringing invincibility to Peru.

Jemand fragte mich: "Was ist der Seelentanz?"

Ich sagte:

"Der Seelentanz ist das, was Du sicherlich als freies Tanzen bezeichnest.

Der Seelentanz geschieht, wenn Du ganz aus dem Kopf bist. Du überlegst nicht wie Du zu Tanzen hast, welche Schritte kommen müssen, sondern das Tanzen geschieht aus sich selbst heraus.

Die Seele führt Deine Bewegungen durch. Die Seele ist so intelligent. Sie weiß einfach, welche Bewegungen wann und wie geschehen sollen.

Die Seele möchte Dich durch das Tanzen, durch die Bewegungen heilen.

Damit Blockaden in Dir gelöst werden können, führt die Seele Dich durch das Tanzen in ganz bestimmte Positionen und in bestimmt Bewegungen, damit die Energie, das Chi wieder richtig fließen kann.

Die Seele möchte Dich in eine ganzheitliche Harmonie bringen. Sie möchte die beiden Kräfte- Yin und Yang - in Harmonie bringen.

Beim Seelentanz verspürst Du eine zunehmende Freude, eine zunehmende Liebe und eine zunehmende Hingabe zu Deiner Seele, zu Deinem Sein und dadurch auch zu Deinem Partner oder der Umgebung.

Durch den Seelentanz heilst Du alle Aspekte Deines Lebens.

Wenn du noch nicht mit dem Seelentanz vertraut bist, was ich eigentlich bei Dir nicht annehme, dann kannst Du durch das Erlernen der Seelensprache und des Seelengesangs zum Seelentanz kommen.

Wenn Du mit Deiner Seele verbunden bist, dann bekommt Dein bisheriger Tanz eine göttlich Nuance und das macht Dich wirklich zu einer göttlichen Tänzerin, d.h. das göttliche tanz durch Dich und Du erlebst einfach nur dieses ekstatische Tanz.

Ich bin immer sehr fasziniert von Tänzern, die aus ihrem Denken raus sind und die göttliche Kraft durch sich tanzen lassen. Das Göttliche ist einfach sehr anziehend, belebend und erhebend.

Tanzen wir den göttlichen Seelentanz und verströmen im kosmischen Sein :-)

"HEILUNGEN von Seele, Geist und Körper"

Solange wir nicht unsere in uns innewohnende "Liebe", erfahren und leben, benötigen wir Heilungen für: unsere Seele, unseren Geist, unsere Emotionen, unseren Körper, unsere Beziehungen und unsere Finanzen.

Wir haben uns hier auf dieser Erde inkarniert, um wieder ganz "Heil" zu werden, um wieder zu unserer ursprünglichen Liebe zurückzufinden.

Wir sind Liebe, wir sind die ewige unvergängliche Liebe, das Sein.

Um unsere wahre Natur, die wahre Liebe, wieder zu erkenn, müssen wir geheilt werden von dem, was wir nicht sind!

Wir können uns selbst heilen!

Neben meinen Berufen als Bankkaufmann, Dipl. Ingenieur, Wirtschaftsberater, Lehrer für Transzendentale Meditation (TM) habe ich auch eine Heilerausbildung gemacht.

Mit dem Abschluss zum Heiler bei dem weltweitbekannten Seelen-Heiler Dr. Sha, wurde ich graduiert zum "Divine Healer und Divine Teacher".

Master Sha ist Chinese. Im alter von 6 Jahren begann er Tai Chi zu erlernen. Mit 10 Jahren lernte er Qi Gong, Kung Fu, I Ging und Feng Shui. Er studierte westliche Medizin und wurde Arzt in der Kräuter-Heilkunde und Akupunktur. Von seinem hochverehrten Meister Dr. Zhi Chen Guo lernte er die Zhi-Neng-Medizin ( Zhi Neg bedeutet "Die Intelligenz und die Fähigkeit von Geist und Seele"). Ein großer Teil der Weisheit der Seele-Geist-Körper-Medizin entstammt direkt den Lehren von Meister Guo.

Um die Seele-Geist-Körper-Medizin zu entwickeln, hat Master Sha die heilende Weisheit und das Wissen der westlichen Medizin, der traditionellen Chinesischen Medizin, der Zhi-Neng-Medizin und die Körper-Raum-Medizin, mit dem Heilwissen der alten Philosophien verbunden. Dazu gehören der Buddhismus, der Taoismus, der Konfuzianismus und das Christentum. Ein besondere Quelle des Wissens bekam Master Sha direkt durch seine offenen spirituellen Kanäle. Nach der lebenslangen Integration all dieser Wissensbereiche und unter der Führung von Master Guo, den spirituellen Vätern im Himmel, seiner eigenen Seele und des göttlichen (des Schöpfers, der Quelle oder des Universums) war er schließlich in der Lage, die Seele-Geist-Körper-Medizin zu entwickeln.

Durch meinen Kundalinieprozess hatte ich über mehrere Jahre gesundheitliche Probleme. Alle Ärzte, Heiler in Deutschland und Indien, die ich kontaktiert habe, konnten mir nicht helfen.

Erst durch die Begegnung mit Master Sha kam ich wieder zurück ins Leben. Es war eine Spontanheilung, die ich nie für möglich gehalten habe. Es war das reinste Wunder für mich.

Da ich selbst auf Grund meines Gesundheitszustandes nicht alleine reisen konnte, wurde ich von einem Freund von meinem früheren Wohnort bei Hamburg nach Frankfurt gefahren, wo Master Sha ein Heilungsseminar abhielt.

Nach der Behandlung von Master Sha konnte ich ohne Hilfe mit dem Zug nach Hause fahren und wieder mehr am tägliche Leben teilnehmen.

Aus meiner Begeisterung habe ich mich zur Heilerausbildung angemeldet. Durch die vielen göttlichen Segnungen und den praktischen Anwendungen für die Selbstheilung ging es mir nach kurzer Zeit sehr viel besser.

Schon während meiner Ausbildung zum "Divine Healer und Divine Teacher" führte ich mit großen Erfolg die erlernten Techniken bei Freunden in meiner Wohnung und durch Fernheilung aus. Immer wieder war ich selbst über die großen Heilungserfolge überrascht.

Die positiven Rückmeldungen über die erzielten Heilerfolge haben mich mit der Zeit selbst davon überzeugt, dass die Heilungsmethode von Mater Sha außerordentlich wirksam ist.

Die vielen Heilberichte von Patienten, die von Maste Sha behandelt wurden, klangen für mich sehr überzeugend.

Auf den Kursen führte Master Sha bei sehr kranken Leuten zur Demonstration Heilungen durch, um allen Anwesenden zu zeigen, dass die Heilung über die Seele außerordentliche gute Erfolge hervorbringt. Leute, die nicht mehr richtig laufen konnten, konnten plötzlich wieder laufen, schwere Depressionen und Angstzustände wurden beseitigt. Lähmungerscheinungen wurden vermindert oder verschwanden. Krebskranke berichteten von ihren Heilungen. In Facebook berichten täglich viele Leute von ihren Heilerfolgen.

Das gute bei Master Sha ist, dass man lernt, wie man durch ganz einfache und leicht erlernbare Techniken sich selbst heilen kann. Auf dem Weg meiner eigenen Heilung haben mir diese Selbstheilungs-Techniken zusätzlich sehr geholfen.

Ich finde es großartig, wenn man Heilung von jemanden bekommt, aber es ist auch wunderbar, wenn man weiß, wie man sich selbst heilen kann.

Die Heilungen erfolgen durch das göttliche Licht und die göttliche Liebe, d.h. durch den direkte Segen das "Göttlichen"

Durch die vermittelten Selbstheilungs-Techniken unterstützt der Patient seinen Heilungsprozess.

Heilungen können in folgenden Bereichen vorgenommen werden:

"Heilung von Seele, Geist und Körper" (allgemeine Erläuterungen)

Um aus zeitlichen Gründen nicht allgemeine Heilungsanfragen immer wieder neu zu beantworten, möchte ich Dir hier folgendes mitteilen:

A) Allgemein

1. Da die Heilung in erster Linie durch die Seele geschieht, spielt es keine Rolle, ob Du den Heilsegen vor Ort oder durch eine Fernheilung bekommst. Die Seele ist nicht durch Zeit oder Raum gebunden. D.h. Du kannst in New York sein und der Heilsegen ist dort genauso erfolgreich als wenn Du bei mir zu Hause den Heilsegen bekommen würdest.

2. Du musst von Deiner Seite keine Vorbereitungen treffen oder Dich auf die Heilung einstellen, weil die Heilung durch meine Heilerseele zu Deiner Seele direkt geschieht. Auch wenn Du schlafen solltest, kann die Heilung über die Seele geschehen.

3. Als "Göttlicher Heiler und Göttlicher Lehrer" erhielt ich vom "Göttlichen" über Master Sha die Befugnis, den göttlichen Heilsegen, der die göttliche Liebe und das göttliche Licht beinhalten, zu übertragen, d.h. Du wirst nicht durch mich geheilt, sondern vom "Göttlichen" selbst. Da die Heilung durch Gott geschieht entsteht zwischen Dir und mir keine Abhängigkeit, was sonst leicht bei anderen Heilern geschehen kann. Jede Art von Abhängigkeit sollten wir vermeiden!

4. Sage mir kurz, welches Problem Du hast.

Im Bereich Gesundheit könnte es z.B. sein:
a) Organe (Nieren, Herz, Milz, Lunge Leber, Haut.
b) Systeme (Nervensystem, Immunsystem, Blutkreislauf-System, Verdauungssystem).
c) sonstiges. Die Seele kann alles heilen!

Im Bereich Beziehungen könnte es z.B. sein:
a) Partnerschaftsprobleme
b) Familienprobleme
c) Probleme mit Freunden
d) Arbeitsplatz-Probleme- mit Vorgesetzten oder Arbeitskollegen

Im Bereich Finanzen könnte es z.B sein:
Haushaltsgeld
Gehaltsforde rungen
Forderungen allgemein
Finanzierungen
Erbscha ften
Scheidungen

Selbsteilung

1. Jeder ist auch sein eigener Heiler. Deine Heilfähigkeiten möchte ich aktivieren, damit Du in der Lage bist, entsprechend Deines Seelenstandes, Dich selbst zu heilen.
2. Ich möchte, dass wir gemeinsam daran arbeiten, dass Du geheilt wirst.
3. Bei unserer ersten Begegnung werde ich Deine noch bestehenden Fragen beantworten und Dich unterrichten wie Du Dich durch vier Krafttechniken, unabhängig von mir, selbst heilen kannst.
3. Durch die mir erteilte Befugnis zum Heilen, ist meine Heilkraft um ein Vielfaches angestiegen. Durch unsere gemeinsame Heilertätigkeit können wir die besten Voraussetzungen schaffen, damit die Heilung durch Gott geschehen kann.
4. Solltest Du gesundheitlichen Gründen nicht in der Lage sein, für Dich heilerisch tätig zu sein, dann erhältst Du selbstverständlich auch den Heilsegen durch mich.

C) Heilungserfolge

1. Die Heilung kann spontan geschehen, insbesondere wenn es noch keine chronische Krankheit geworden ist. Manchmal bedarf es eine gewisse Zeit bis die Heilung erfolgt. Es hängt auch vom Karma ab ob eine Heilung direkt erfolgen kann. Ich habe bei mir in einem völlig desolaten Zustand Spontanheilungen erfahren (Siehe Kundalini-Bericht). Auch bei vielen schwer kranken Leuten durfte ich miterleben wie sie geheilt wurden. Es ist ein Wunder, welche Heiligungen durch die Kraft der Seele geschehen können.

D) Honorar

1. Es gibt feste Gebührensätze. Für mich steht die Hilfe im Vordergrund. Solltest Du die Gebühren aus finanziellen Gründen nicht in voller Höhe zahlen können, dann werden wir gemeinsam einen Weg finden, damit Du dennoch den gewünschten Heilsegen bekommen und die Heiltechniken zur Selbstheilung erlernen kannst. Die Natur organisiert immer das optimale für uns. Fühle Dich also in keiner Weise unter Druck. Die Gesundheit steht im Vordergrund!

E) Wichtig!

Die von mir durchgeführte Heilung ersetzt nicht Deinen Arzt! Folge den Anweisungen Deines Arztes!

Falls Du Medikamente nimmst und es Dir wieder besser geht, dann besprich mit Deinem Arzt, ob Du die Medikamente reduzieren oder ganz absetzten kannst.

Yesterday an Iranian woman, Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani, was saved by global protests from being stoned to death.

But she may still be hanged -- and, meanwhile, execution by stoning continues. Right now fifteen more people are on death row awaiting stoning in which victims are buried up to their necks in the ground and then large rocks are thrown at their heads.

The partial reprieve of Sakineh, triggered by the call from her children for international pressure to save her life, has shown that if enough of us come together and voice our horror, we may be able to save her life, and stop stoning once and for all. Sign the urgent petition now and send it onto everyone you know -- let's end this cruel slaughter NOW!

Sakineh was convicted of adultery, like all the other 12 women and one of the men awaiting stoning. But her children and lawyer say she is innocent and that she did not get a fair trial -- they state her confession was forced from her and, speaking only Azerbaijani, she did not understand what was being asked of her in court.

Despite Iran's signing of a UN convention that requires the death penalty only be used for the "most serious crimes" and despite the Iranian Parliament passing a law banning stoning last year, stoning for adultery continues.

Sakineh's lawyer says the Iranian government "is afraid of Iranian public reaction and international attention" to the stoning cases. And after Turkey and Britain's Foreign Ministers spoke out against Sakineh's sentence, it was suspended.

Sakineh's brave children are leading the international campaign to save their mother and stop stoning. Massive international condemnation now could finally stop this sickening punishment. THE Beatles have given up drugs. This is not just because they talked yesterday for two hours in a first-class compartment between Euston and Bangor to a small Indian gentleman, or even because this morning the same gentleman went on to initiate them into the techniques of transcendental meditation. Giving up drugs was already happening to them. Now they are sure.

When Paul McCartney, George Harrison and John Lennon admitted they had taken drugs it received worldwide publicity. It is hoped that their being off them will be equally publicised. It will be interesting to see if the millions whom they are supposed to influence — that’s when they’re doing anything which the older generation considers bad — will be affected by their doing good.

It could be the end of the hippies. After all, from San Francisco to Tottenham Court Road, by their beads, bangles and acid, the Beatles have been the heroes of all hippies. Is the next teenage cult going to be a positive one for good living? Are the drop-out, freak-out negative days over? It’s ironic that all the acres of heavy print, from leader writers, medics and lawyers, about the wrongs of drug taking didn’t do the slightest bit of good. The Beatles’ reasons for giving up drugs are simply spiritual. They are looking for spiritual fulfilment.

“It was an experience we went through,” says Paul, “and now it’s over we don’t need it any more. We think we’re finding other ways of getting there.”

The Indian gentleman is called the Maharishi. More than 300 of his British followers are gathered this weekend at the University College of North Wales for five days of meditation. Their meditations were rather shattered when out of the blue the four Beatles, plus Mick Jagger, arrived pursued by hundreds of fans, police and press.

The decision was sudden. It happened only yesterday morning. The Beatles had gone to a public lecture given by the Maharishi the night before. He invited them on his meditation course in Bangor. But their interest in Indian religion is not sudden. It’s been happening for the past year. They already have some knowledge of yoga philosophy and have been reading and taking instruction for the past six months, looking for one good wise man to explain everything.

It was planned to be a secret private weekend when we got to Euston for the 3.05 yesterday. But it wasn’t. There was such chaos that Cynthia Lennon was left behind, caught in the crowds and held back by a policeman who thought she was a fan. It didn’t look as if Ringo would make it either. His wife Maureen was due out today with a new baby. “I rang her,” said Ringo. “But she said I had to go. I hadn’t to miss this.”

“Cyn and I were thinking of going to Libya,” said John, “till this came up. Libya or Bangor? Well there was no choice was there.” Pattie Boyd, Mrs George Harrison, was clutching a bag of apples and Marianne Faithfull, Jagger’s girlfriend, clutched a carrier bag. George lit some joss sticks and John asked if the Maharishi would turn out to be another version of what they already knew: “You know, like some are on EMI and some Decca, but it’s really still records.”

George, who is the most knowledgeable, said he didn’t think so. He felt this was going to be it. He has been the leader in studying Indian religion since he took up the sitar. He’s been studying and searching for a long time. He went to Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco to see the hippies, but was disappointed. Last week he went to Cornwall and climbed a mountain with a yogi but nothing happened.

They were ushered into the Maharishi’s compartment where he sat cross-legged on a white sheet laid out on a seat by one of his followers. This is his final world tour before he retires to India. Bangor was pandemonium. But amid all the thousands of shrieking teenagers there were huddles of genteel middle-aged ladies clutching flowers waiting to welcome the Maharishi.

At the college his 300 followers, members of his International Meditation Society, were of the same genteel officer-class background, all clutching flowers. It was surprising to realise that while teenage flower power had all the publicity there are many ordinary adults similarly looking for spiritual guidance.

What is Transcendental Meditation?

Transcendental Meditation is a simple technique which gives a unique quality of rest to mind and body. It allows stress and tiredness to be released in a natural way, resulting in greater energy, clarity and enjoyment of life.

How much time will it take out of my day?

Twenty minutes, twice a day. Often this can be accommodated with no real change of routine. It can even be done on the train to work. Furthermore people often find that the extra energy and clarity gained from Transcendental Meditation actually saves them time.

Will it take me years to master?

Just the opposite. You are not embarking on a lifelong quest, but a couple of hours on each of four consecutive days, with an optional (but recommended) three-month follow-up programme to ensure that you are gaining full benefit. At the end of this time you will be self-sufficient in the practice. You are not joining a group or becoming part of an organisation.

Can anyone learn? I can't keep my mind still.

Anyone can practise Transcendental Meditation. The technique allows the activity of the mind to settle down in a natural way until it is left quiet, yet wide awake. It's so simple.

Can children learn?

Transcendental Meditation is so simple that even children as young as five can learn and practise it without any difficulty. Between the ages of five and ten, children do not sit and close their eyes to meditate, but use a Word of Wisdom™ during a period of quiet activity. The Word of Wisdom technique helps children naturally become more settled in themselves, stable, and attentive. Children continue to practise their Word of Wisdom because it it is so enjoyable and effortless.

But will it be a long time before I start to benefit?

The long-term benefits of regular meditation are cumulative, but new meditators often notice that they look and feel better almost immediately.

Will I become calm to the point of not caring; lose my edge?

No. People in positions of responsibility who take up Transcendental Meditation find that the removal of stress gives them clarity, perspective and vigour. Not to mention many health benefits and improvements in relations with friends and family.

Will I be required to study a great deal?

Not at all. The practice of Transcendental Meditation requires no intellectual effort. Everything you need to know will be explained in simple language during the course.

Will it interfere with my existing beliefs?

No. Transcendental Meditation is a simple technique that aids relaxation, relieves stress and provides physical and mental energy. The practice does not conflict with any existing beliefs, religious or otherwise; yet at the same time people often find that regular meditation gives clarity and perspective to their highest aspirations.

Will I be required to chant, or adopt unusual postures?

No. When you meditate you sit comfortably with your eyes closed, in silence. To the onlooker it will appear as though you are dozing. It is perfectly possible, for instance, to meditate on a train journey.

How does it differ from other systems of meditation?

Other systems generally involve either concentration (which means effort) or contemplation (thinking about something), both of which tend to keep the mind lively and active. Transcendental Meditation is a completely natural, effortless practice.

I have a history of ill-health. Can I meditate safely?

Yes, it is completely safe. Of course if you are taking medical treatment we recommend that you continue to take your doctor's advice.

Incidentally, a large and growing number of health professionals both practise Transcendental Meditation and recommend it to their patients.

The health benefits are far-reaching and have been rigourously examined in literally hundreds of prestigious medical publications. So much so that a delegation of British doctors has petitioned the Department of Health in Westminster to make the practice more widely available on the NHS.

The benefits sound really good, so why doesn't everyone do it?

In fact tens of thousands of people in this country and millions of people around the world practise Transcendental Meditation every day.

But in the final analysis, is it really compatible with a modern, Western lifestyle?

Absolutely! In fact the busier we become, the more important it is that we take time to rest properly - to recharge our batteries.

Eine neue Ära wird erwartet - durch eine Kollision im weltgrößten Beschleuni-ger sollen das Higgs-Teilchen und dunkle Materie gefunden werden

Am CERN, dem europäischen Forschungszentrum für Elementarteilchenphysik, ist in den letzten Jahren mit dem LHC = "Large Hadron Collider" der weltgrößte Beschleuniger aufgebaut worden. Er wurde bereits erfolgreich bei kleineren Teilchenenergien getestet. Ab Dienstag, 30.04.2010, werden die Protonenstrahlen, die dort zur Kollision gebracht werden, auf eine Gesamtenergie von 7 TeV gebracht - der bisherige Rekord von etwa 2 TeV wird dann deutlich überschritten.

Damit wird eine neue Ära in der Physik eingeleitet. Die Wissenschaftler hoffen, das lang gesuchte Higgs-Teilchen zu finden, welches für die Masse aller Elementarteilchen verantwortlich sein soll. Sie suchen auch nach "Dunkler Materie", also Teilchen, die das Universum maßgeblich beeinflussen, aber bisher nicht identifiziert werden konnten.

Drei RWTH-Institute für Elementarteilchenphysik - die Physikalischen Institute Ib, IIIa, IIIb - haben wesentlich am Bau der zugehörigen Teilchendetektoren mitgearbeitet und beteiligen sich an der Suche nach neuen Teilchen. Deshalb fiebern natürlich auch die Aachener Forscher diesem Ereignis der ersten Proton-Proton-Kollisionen bei einer Gesamtenergie von 7 TeV entgegen. Am Dienstag werden sie mit ihren Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern die Geschehnisse am CERN live auf einer Leinwand verfolgen - in der Hoffnung, dass alles klappen wird.

Sie laden die Vertreter der Medien herzlich ein, am 30.04.2010 ab 9.00 Uhr "mitzufiebern" und gegebenenfalls mitzufeiern. Die Übertragung findet im Physikzentrum der RWTH, Otto-Blumenthal-Straße, Treppenhaus des Turms 26 im 2. Stock statt.

Forscher wollen Stromverbrauch elektronischer Bauteile millionenfach senken - TU-Forscher beteiligt an 24,5-Millionen-Dollar Projekt in den USA

Die internationale Wissenschaft hat dem rapide steigenden Stromverbrauch in der Elektronik den Kampf angesagt. Ende Februar bewilligte die amerikanische National Science Foundation (NSF) die Einrichtung von fünf neuen Wissenschafts- und Technologie-Zentren. An einem davon, das auf die Entwicklung innovativer Verfahren zur Reduzierung des massiven Strombedarfs von elektronischen und photonischen Bauteilen zielt und das mit 24,5 Millionen US-Dollar gefördert wird, ist als einer von drei internationalen Partnern das Institut für Festkörperphysik der TU Berlin unter Leitung von Prof. Dr. Dieter Bimberg beteiligt.

Das ambitionierte neue Zentrum wird an der University of California in Berkeley bei Professor Eli Yablonovitch angesiedelt sein. Es wird eng mit mehreren amerikanischen Instituten zusammenarbeiten, unter anderem mit dem Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston. Es basiert auf einem der fünf Vorschläge, die in einem aufwändigen Verfahren, an dem rund 100 Programm-Direktoren der gesamten NSF beteiligt waren, aus ursprünglich 247 Anträgen ausgewählt wurden.

"Die fünf neuen Wissenschafts- und Technologie-Zentren (STCs) werden Weltklasse-Teams aus Forschern und Hochschullehrern vereinen, Lernen, Forschen und Entwickeln auf innovative Weise integrieren, komplexe Probleme, die eine langfristige Unterstützung benötigen, bewältigen und neue Technologien hervorbringen, die bedeutende Auswirkungen auf unsere Zukunft haben werden", prognostizierte NSF-Direktor Arden L. Bement. Die NSF in Arlington, Virginia, ist die größte Forschungsförderungseinrichtung der US-Regierung. Sie unterstützt Forschung und Bildung auf allen Feldern der Wissenschaften, außer der Medizin. Mit ihrem jährlichen Budget von fast sechs Milliarden Dollar ist sie die größte unabhängige Drittmittelgeberin für Grundlagenforschung an Hochschulen in den USA.

Wenige Milliwatt sollen künftig ausreichend sein

"Center for Energy Efficient Electronics Science" (E3S) wird das neue Center heißen, an dem die TU Berlin beteiligt ist. Es wird sich der Herausforderung widmen, die Energie-Effizienz elektronischer Informationsprozesse zu steigern. In den letzten Jahren stieg der Stromverbrauch in der Elektronik dramatisch an. Wissenschaftler erwarten, dass sich dieser Trend fortsetzt, wenn es keine entscheidenden Veränderungen des Energiebedarfs bei den grundlegenden Bauelementen gibt. E3S wird nach Konzepten und wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen suchen, die es Bauelementen mit einem Stromverbrauch von nur wenigen Milliwatt ermöglichen, herkömmliche und vergleichsweise "energiefressende" elektronische und optoelektronische Module zu ersetzen, zum Beispiel in zukünftigen Servern.

"Wir sind sehr stolz, dass unsere Forschungsleistungen insbesondere auf dem Gebiet der Nanostrukturen und Quantenpunkte, mit der Entwicklung von Nanoflash-Speichern und Einzelquantenpunkt-Lasern, durch die Beteiligung an einem so renommierten Projekt eine derartige internationale Anerkennung findet", erklärt Professor Dieter Bimberg. "Unser Institut wird mit seiner Expertise in der Herstellung, Charakterisierung und Modellierung von Nanostrukturen und in der Herstellung nano-photonischer Bauelemente zum Gelingen des STCs beitragen. Mit gemeinsamer Anstrengung werden wir den Stromverbrauch in der Elektronik um ein Millionenfaches senken können." Um dieses hohe Ziel zu erreichen, können die TU-Forscher unter anderem auch auf die Kompetenz von mehr als 100 Wissenschaftlern zurückgreifen, die im TU-Sonderforschungsbereich "Halbleiter-Nanophotonik: Materialien, Modelle, Bauelemente" zusammengeschlossen sind. Integriert in den 2008 eingerichteten Sfb ist ein Graduiertenkolleg, welches jungen Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftlern damit die Möglichkeit gibt, in ambitionierten nationalen und internationalen Programmen zu arbeiten.

A course in Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and Gardening was recently held in Skelmersdale, England. The four-day, 16-lesson course was enjoyed by 23 participants from England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

Dr Peter Swan, Minister of Communication of the Global Country of World Peace and Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture expert, conducted the course in the beautiful 'Golden Dome' which is at the heart of a community of about 300 Yogic Flyers and practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in Skelmersdale.

'The course offers an in-depth overview of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and Gardening,' Dr Swan said.* 'It offered a deep dive into Total Knowledge, which was so much appreciated by the great knowers of reality of that enlightened community.'

Dr Swan highlighted the knowledge presented in each lesson of the course:

'The first lesson gives an overview of the course—so it gives the whole course in brief,' he said.

The second lesson, entitled Transformation of modern agriculture from ploughing to no-till introduces a major theme of the course: do less and accomplish more, Dr Swan said.

This lesson shows the shift that is taking place in the world from extensive ploughing—which causes a huge amount of damage to the soil and the environment—to no-till agriculture, which doesn't involve turning over the soil.

The third lesson covers the transformation of soil science from chemical to biological. 'Over the past 70 years or so,' Dr Swan continued, 'the major emphasis has been on adding chemicals to the soil for fertility.'

The use of chemicals has caused extensive damage, he said. It actually weakens the crop as well as people's health.

Now there is a new understanding 'that the biology [bacteria, fungi, earthworms, etc.] is what is responsible for creating not only the soil structure, but also the soil fertility.'

'The fourth lesson' Dr Swan said, 'is titled The transformation of soil fertility from limited to unlimited.'

For the past 70 years or so it was thought that soil fertility was produced from outside, that it was dependent on chemicals, and that because plants use up the fertility of the soil, it is therefore limited, Dr Swan said.

The new understanding that the fertility of the soil is dependent on the biology of the soil—bacteria, fungi, earthworms, etc.—reveals the reality that soil fertility is unlimited as long as soil biology is available, he explained.

The fifth lesson, Dr Swan continued, covers the transformation of gardening techniques—from culturing outer appearance to culturing inner nutrient value.

The sixth lesson goes deeply into many systems of organic agriculture, which have successfully been able not only to suspend the use of chemicals, but also to increase the fertility in the soil year by year with each new crop.

'This was interesting to the farmers in the group,' Dr Swan said.

The seventh lesson discussed the modern scientific understanding of compost—the aerobic breakdown of organic matter. The lesson details how to create and use compost successfully.

Lesson eight covers principles of organic agriculture and Vedic Organic Agriculture, Dr Swan said—including cultivating not only abundant crops, but an abundance of highest-quality crops.

The ninth lesson covers principles of matter and sound, Dr Swan said. The main part of this lesson is a beautiful lecture by world-renowned quantum physicist Raja Dr John Hagelin** about 'the understanding of modern quantum physics that the entire universe is the frequencies of self-interaction of the Unified Field. Those frequencies, as they become more manifest, then they can be perceived as sound frequencies. So the whole universe can be said to be the interplay of sound frequencies,' explained Dr Swan.

This lays the foundation for lesson 10, which is the central lesson of the course: Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's inauguration of Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture, Dr Swan continued. The inauguration took place during the World Parliament for World Peace, held at the Brahmasthan of India.

Lesson 11 explores 'Vedic Agriculture as Total Knowledge—From human intelligence to Nature's intelligence', Dr Swan said. The lesson discusses how Vedic Organic Agriculture is Total Knowledge, from seed to seed.

'Maharishi Mahesh Yogi said,' Dr Swan continued, that 'this is the knowledge of agriculture, from seed to seed through all the manifest levels in between. This is the nature of knowledge of agriculture, which is the nature of Total Knowledge, knowledge of Brahm [Totality], from wholeness to wholeness through all the various levels of manifestation in between.'

Lesson 12 is about 'the sequential unfoldment of total Natural Law in agriculture and the environment,' Dr Swan explained.

The lesson is based on Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam's book: Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and the Vedic Literature, which Maharishi called 'the textbook of all time', Dr Swan said.

Lesson 13 discusses Veda (Total Knowledge of Natural Law): Veda in the environment, Veda at the basis of agriculture, Dr Swan said. Participants see how Veda is expressed in the environment and how enlivenment of Veda in the environment, enlivenment of the intelligence within matter, is at the basis of Vedic Agriculture.

In lesson 14, participants learn how greatest yield can be produced from softest thinking. The lesson covers principles of Vedic Agriculture, principles of wholeness, Dr Swan said.

The 15th lesson highlights the role of Vedic Agriculture in the transformation of poverty to affluence. The poverty removal programme of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi shows that the dust of the earth is the gold of every nation, with the potential to bring affluence to every country.

Maharishi's Programme to Eliminate Poverty brings together many of his programmes. In addition to Maharishi Vedic Organic Agriculture and Gardening, it utilizes Maharishi Vedic Architecture, Maharishi Vedic Approach to Health, Consciousness-Based Education, and the Raam Global Development Currency.

Lesson 16, the final lesson of the course, summarizes all the knowledge of previous lessons and brings it all together in the light of wholeness. It is the fulfilment of the whole course, demonstrating that Consciousness-Based Agriculture ranges from the Unified Field to the farmer's field.

The entire 16-lesson course is structured in terms of analysis and synthesis, Dr Swan said. The first nine lessons are presented in terms of synthesis—going from the practical application of the techniques of agriculture like ploughing, soil fertility, composting, and gardening techniques to deeper and deeper, more unified levels of knowledge, culminating in the most unified level: Maharishi's inauguration of Vedic Organic Agriculture.

'After that, lesson 11 begins the process of analysis—analysis of all the different aspects of agriculture and gardening in terms of unity—unity established by Maharishi in lecture 10, the central lecture' of the course, Dr Swan said.

`Remember to bring the knowledge to the children. The children - particularly those now coming in, now that the grip of Kali Yuga has been broken and we now have this sort of island or oasis within Kali Yuga - this is providing now an opportunity for very advanced souls to come in and to be born now that the environment has changed and consciousness has been risen.
So these children coming in will be a very fine nervous system, some that were not able to be here earlier because of the grossness and roughness of the environment and the level of consciousness in the world. And now that that has softened, these very advanced souls now can incarnate to receive Maharishi`s knowledge.
And all that is necessary is that we bring the Knowledge to the children. They will instantly know what to do with it. They will instantly understand it, because they will be of that level. So once they will be given the Transcendental Meditation, they will then be on the road to their own enlightenment which then will happen very rapidly.
And the knowledge that is provided in the legacy of tapes and everything we have we have, they will understand. We just need to continue to make the Knowledge available, particularly to the young people that are coming in.`

RAJA DEAN: ...and I asked Maharishi if it is necessary that we have teachers who are fully enlightened to offer this Knowledge to the children? And he said:
`No, no, no, the children will know it. Just provide the Knowledge in it`s pure form. That is all what is needed. Those teachers who are practising and perfecting the Knowledge within themselves, who are perfecting their program, they will become enlightened. And as they do it will accelerate everything, it will make everything go faster. But it is not a requirement for the development of the children who are coming in.`

Great Britain: Two main groups of Yogic Flyers to create invincibility for the nation

according to traditional scientists the DNA molecule contains the genetic code which is fixed and can not be changed. The DNA is composed of four bases which are making up the code of life.

MAHARISHI: ...We have just now established that it is the gap between the two particles in the whole body, the reality of Shrotas, that make life immortal. That is because immortality is a reality not of matter, but it is a reality on its own and it is intelligence.
What matter does is, it extremely localizes it. It makes it so localized that its flexibility gets lost. Because it is an eternal reality, where does it substantiate its existence, when its found that one particle has swallowed its eternity, continuum and immortality?
It gets into the structure of the particle and it gets into the relationship of one particle with the other. And then it enjoys its freedom and eternal wakefulness in the middle point of the particles. So we say, it is not these four particles that are the source of intelligence, it is their relationship with one another.
The beauty is that the RNA, emerging from DNA, the process is that the two particles which are together, they create a relationship between them. They expand the relation, that means the relationship area becomes lively. From that liveliness springs an impulse.
Now what is happening in this case is very beautiful. We have seen that this particle and that particle, they are controlled by the middle point where neither the value of this particle nor the value of that particle, but a field of all possibilities is lively. In the middle point of the relationship of the two particles there is all possibilities lively.
So what DNA does, it creates - it is difficult to say `creates` when we talk of two values, intelligence and matter, and when we see the working of the DNA, that they are together and then it opens itself.
In that opening what is happening is, that field of all possibilities is lively. Where from that particular kind of RNA comes to create that particular kind of protein and all that, where from?
From the requirement which that widely awake field of all possibilities, the central point of the relationship... because it is a field of infinite correlation, omnipresent everywhere. So it knows what is happening during the eclipse time or what is happening when the earth is going round its axis and now there is night.
The DNA opening feels the requirement of the universe. The requirement of the universe is compatible with the requirement of the body, because body has also survival, universe has also survival. Both have to survive in terms of mutual alignment, one is aligned with the other - that field of all possibilities, the point value.
What I am emphasizing is, the middle point of the relationship of two particles or two waves - it doesn't matter what we take into account - the middle point of the relationship is a field fully awake within itself. It is a transcendental reality. It has none of these values of either this or this or this. So it is pure wakefulness, pure wakefulness is there.
What is needed comes out. Now what is needed depends on an infinite number of considerations, but it is a field of all possibilities, because it is Ritam bhara pragya, a state of intelligence which knows everything and which registers only the truth. It is not deluded because it is Self-referral. Being Self-referral it knows everything.
And this reality is located in the functioning in DNA. So rather than saying that the particles have a genetic code we say the relationship between the particles is the field on which the things are registered.
And from this inexhaustible source of informations - it is an inexhaustible source of information not because of thousands or millions of past lives, but on the basis of its own character. It is the Self-referral intelligence, Self-referral consciousness, it is completely out of any weakness, but a potential of all possibilities, potential of all levels of silence along with the potential of all levels of activity.
And the emerging of the RNA associated with the Sanskaras, that also is not wrong, but the fundamental value is that the midlle point of their relationship, from where the RNA takes off, is a field of all possibilities, fully awake within itself - Self-referral consciousness. And in that Self-referral consciousness all the interactions are all Self-referral. The whole multiplicity is all Self-referral in the state of unity. So unity is eternal, multiplicity is eternal and dynamics are eternal.
So in that eternal drama of the one reality, the phenomenon of DNA is enacted. The DNA enacts the drama of the Self-referral intelligence, which is an eternally going on self-interacting dynamics of pure intelligence or the Self.
So it is not the particles, but it is the relationship of the particles. So when the particles separate, the middle point changes its value...

India: Many thousands learn Transcendental Meditation
22 January 2010 - In India, 33,900 people learnt the Transcendental Meditation Technique during 2009, and 23,000 the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying. Starting from 12 January 2010, Transcendental Meditation camps are being organized in 250 cities throughout the country, to enable many more people to learn Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's technologies of consciousness in 2010.
